Description
This is a gold and silver handmade Persian amulet with inlaid garnet. The Five Metals (gold, silver, copper, tin, and lead) are laid at the heart of the pendant – this is a Kabbalistic formula for attracting success in different areas of life.
The biblical quote from King Solomon's Proverbs: "She opens her mouth with wisdom" (Proverbs 31:26) is inscribed on the medallion.
The inscription is styled in the ancient font Rashi, which dates from the 15th century and is named after the medieval Jewish scholar who lived in France. It was developed in the typographies of Venice and was used mainly for comments to the Bible.
